Hello, I am Milo.

Welcome to Urban Velo Lab.

I live in Cinisello Balsamo and have been cycling for over ten years. For me, the bike has never just been a hobby, but my way of experiencing the city, getting to work, and feeling free.

For five years I worked in IT. I enjoyed it, but I felt the need to take my eyes off the screen and do something that had a concrete impact on reality and on people. I wanted a job that would be good for the soul and that would help our city change gear.

So I decided to change everything. But I didn't do it for fun: I put down the keyboard and started studying, attending a 200-hour professional course in mechanics to learn every secret of this trade.

Why Urban Velo Lab?

I founded Urban Velo Lab because I know how frustrating it is to have your bike out of action due to a fault and not have the time (or means) to take it to the workshop.

My goal is simple: to take away any hassle from you. It doesn't matter if you have a carbon racing bike, a creaky city bike, or an old bike gathering dust in the cellar. If it's a means of transport that gets you around or brings you joy, it deserves to be back on the road. I'm not here to sell you the brand of the moment, but to ensure that your bike is safe and responsive.

How I work (my "tech" side)

From my past in computing, I have brought with me an obsession for efficiency. I have eliminated everything I hate about the old way of doing repairs:

  • Book everything online in a few seconds.

  • I come to you, at home or in the office, in Milano and the surrounding areas.

  • You pay digitally, without having to search for cash at the last moment.

My fixed points

  • True sustainability: Every bike repaired is one less car in traffic.

  • No snobbery: I treat all bikes with the same care, from the cheapest to the most expensive.

  • Competence and transparency: 200 hours of training and 10 years of experience mean that I know where to put my hands and I will always explain to you what I am doing.

I believe that a city full of bicycles is a happier city. I provide the tools and the passion, you provide the legs.

See you on the street, Milo
